Welcome To Staten Island Bikers For Babies
Bikers for Babies is the fastest-growing fundraising event for the March of Dimes and plays an integral part in the advancement of our mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. It is also one of the most important ways we have of ensuring that we can continue to fund our research and programs the fight premature birth and other threats to our babies’ health.
In 2009, the local March of Dimes introduced Bikers for Babies to the Staten Island Community. By 2010, the event became a dominant force in the March of Dimes New York State Chapter’s fundraising calendar and currently ranks as the #5 Bikers for Babies event in the nation.
Raising more than $105,000 in its second year, the event featured over 1,200 motorcycles and 310 classic and custom cars. Bikers for Babies also featured fantastic food, vendors and a professional, state-of-the-art concert with two stages. Featured artists were Dee Snider and members of Twisted Sister, Ted Poley of Danger Danger, Glenn Burtnik (formerly of Styx), Beatlemania and some of the best local performers New York Community has to offer.
Remember……. THE POWER IS IN YOUR HANDS…
